PRESERVE
(2018) POLYMER CLAY, WOOD BLOCK, FOUND TWIGS
The idea for Preserve came out of a conversation I had with another student in the cadaver lab. We saw a medical student pouring the embalming fluid out of a watering can, one that would be used to water a garden. This observation became a conversation about the paradox of tending to something that is no longer alive.
